VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting an Operations Accountant to join a leading manufacturing business based in Enniskillen. This is an opportunity to join a global business who are at the forefront of their market, including recognisable brands within their portfolio.
The Operations Accountant will join the finance team on a maternity cover contract and will be responsible for delivering monthly accounts, providing key management information. The Operations Accountant will take on responsibilities to help develop the finance team, and working closely with the Head of Finance to identify areas for improvement.
This role will suit a hands-on Accountant (Qualified/Part/Qualified) who has a strong character and an ability to work to multiple deadlines. If you have manufacturing experience, along with a proven ability to develop team members, this could be the ideal role for you.

About you
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Results driven with high attention to detail
- Extensive management accounting experience, preferably from a manufacturing environment
- SAP experience (Desirable)
- Continuous improvement mindset
What you’ll do
- Financial reporting and analysis of cost of sales & overheads
- Supporting and influencing management to deliver cost improvements
- Prepare monthly accounts, annual budgets, forecasts, and year-end accounts
- Delivering accurate cost performance reporting & analysis
- New product costings, reviewing existing costings
- Drive continuous improvement
