About the Role
Due to the recent growth in our client accounts over the last year, we are looking for an Operations Administrator to join our busy Operations team.
The ideal candidate for the role will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with UK and international clients. A number of the below responsibilities must be completed in a specific timeframe therefore strong organisation skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure is essential. A successful candidate will also have strong IT and problem-solving skills. Experience of logistics in a customer facing role is desirable, but not necessary.
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays will be given.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking monthly and quarterly stock audits to maintain stock integrity.
- Purchasing sales, repair and manufacturing stock for key client accounts.
- Logistics admin, including managing the full pick and pack process; liaising with couriers and shipping agents; booking inbound and outbound consignments; and tracking and reporting on active consignments to clients.
- Tracking stock movements through the CMS, including 'booking in' client stock and using the system to perform inventory investigations and adjustments to resolve stock discrepancies.
- Liaising with key clients on a daily basis to keep them abreast of activities and manage expectations, assist with queries, and troubleshoot issues where they arise.
- Producing weekly and monthly operational reports.
- General administrative duties to assist the Operations department.
