Operations Administrator

Job Role:

Agreat opportunity to work in a wide a varied role within a busy office.  In this position you will be providing support to the Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Warehousing teams. You will be dealing with customers, company drivers, suppliers and sub-contractors locally in the UK and throughout the world.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting salary of £25,000 – £30,000 per annum.
• Monday – Friday, working hours are 9:00 – 17:30pm 
• 33 Days Annual Leave (including Bank Holiday)

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with international freight documentation.
• Arranging and participating in regular meetings with key stakeholders such as freight forwarders & third-party hauliers.
• Liaison with Planning, freight forwarders and warehouse around inbound container bookings.
• Accurately monitor Courier's collection and deliveries daily to ensure time frames are adhered to.
• Coordinate collections & deliveries with our Domestic Couriers and Inward/Outward Freight Company. 
• Coordinate collections & deliveries with our National Couriers and Inward/Outward Freight Company (This will include working Sundays).
• Ensure this information is delivered across the internal team for managing our end-user customers.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in freight forwarding (and/or UK distribution) is essential.
• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to intermediate level
• SAP experience an advantage.
