Position Overview:
Value Doors, based in Wakefield, UK, is seeking a dedicated administrator to join our team. The Schedulers play a crucial role in coordinating the schedules of surveyors and installers across the UK to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to our customers' homes. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule Coordination: Coordinate the schedules of surveyors and installers across the UK to ensure optimal allocation of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers nationwide to schedule appointments for surveys and installations, ensuring clear understanding of timing and expectations.
- Resource Management: Manage the availability of surveyors and installers, taking into account factors such as location, skillset, and workload across different regions.
- Problem Solving: Address any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise nationwide, finding solutions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments, customer details, and any relevant information related to surveying and installation activities.
- Communication: Keep all relevant parties informed of scheduling updates, including surveyors, installers, and internal stakeholders across the UK.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that scheduling processes adhere to company standards and policies nationwide, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in scheduling operations nationwide, implementing changes as needed to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of activities and alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant tools is preferred.
