This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a team who support the whole of the School of Medicine. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player to join the Operation Team based on the Ninewells Campus in Dundee, enabling an opportunity to work with stakeholders from all parts of the University and be involved in the full range of support activities of the School of Medicine.
The post holder will assist in all aspects of Operational Support with emphasis on requisitioning and procurement support for research purposes. This is a full-time permanent role and the successful candidate will aid the Operations Support Managers, under the direction of the Head of Operations, to implement the highest standards of service to all staff and students within the School of Medicine.

Candidate requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including evidence of team working and the ability to be proactive in responding to the needs of staff and students.
- Strong liaison skills with a wide range of individuals within the Medical School.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proactive in responding to the needs of staff and students.
Who we're looking for:
- Relevant administration qualification or equivalent experience and transferable skills.
- Experience of working within a Higher Educational environment.
- Experience of procurement procedures.
- Working knowledge of software packages including Outlook, excel, word, SharePoint and One University.
- Appreciation and understanding of data protection, confidentiality and equality and diversity legislation.
