What is the Role?

Our Operations, Compliance and Data Protection Specialist will be a key operational requirement within SSE Airtricity. In this role you will:

• complete audits, dip tests and checks within the department in line with business plans

• work alongside the business assurance team to target future change proactively by utilising key data reporting

• be the central resource for contract management, setting up new suppliers, raising payment requests, receipting payment requests, and investigating third party payment issues

• ensure GDPR is embedded into business culture, enhancing communication and knowledge across the teams

• act as a Data Protection ambassador and actively manage any GDPR and SARS requests

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

• knowledge of the Northern Ireland retail energy markets and an understanding of the requirements associated with working in a regulated utility industry

• functional experience within a business operations environment, with working knowledge of GDPR and key Data Protection principles, as well as compliance audit expertise

• excellent project management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills

• strong analytical and interpersonal skills

• an understanding of key change management and change governance principles
