Job Description:
Salary - £26,000 to £30,000 per annum
Job Accountabilities:
- Coordinate daily multi modal operations and ensure they are aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational processes to improve efficiency
- To ensure Invoices are correctly billed and completed and costs accrued within departmental KPIs
- To ensure all Data Quality guidelines are compliant
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and third party service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- To ensure ongoing and consistent client satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to enquiries, issues and problems
- To identify and solve issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction
- To ensure you represent the company in a professional and consultative manner at all times
- Continuously provide training to all operations staff
- Maintain on-going knowledge of procedural and/or regulatory changes as well as information published on the company's intranets, and ensure distribution of information vital to the operations of the department/team
- Involving relevant stakeholders when necessary for any departmental/operational/ administrative issues or needs
- Build relationships with freight carriers and maintain rate tariffs

Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Customer Service or Pricing within freight forwarding.
- Diplomatic skills to be used in front of the customers
- Analytic and negotiation skills.
- Customer oriented & team player.
- Able to work under the pressure where needed.
- Good time management techniques.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
