Operations Development Manager- The Role:
Supporting the work of the Group Operations team, focusing on business wide projects, new product launches, transformation initiatives and performance reporting and KPIs.
You will play a lead role in delivering against these areas working across all areas of the business. This will include initiatives and change activity in relation to; operations efficiency, acquisitions/large partner integrations, new product development / launches, KPIs & reporting, and general business workflow improvement.
You will be expected to assist and use your operations management expertise consultatively across the wider business.
Operations Development Manager- Key responsibilities:
- Be a key resource involved in the delivery of initiatives in operations
- You will scope, plan, and implement across a wide range of projects working with all relevant internal stakeholders
- Lead the way on ensuring our Operational readiness, in regard to new product or service launches
- Work with teams across our different operations regions, ensuring you take an end-to-end, group wide view on how we deliver on areas such as; large partner onboarding/book migrations, operations process re-engineering, automation & digitalization, and wider business workflow optimisation
- Define and construct KPIs and reporting for Operations areas
- Use the KPIs and SLA reporting outputs to identify opportunities for improvement and assist in the setting and completion of actions arising
- Work with the Group Operations Director to ensure the wider business is aware of Operations priorities and benefits, delivering comms through multiple mediums as necessary
- Be an active member of the wider operations leadership cohort, using your expertise and experience to add value to operations activity and performance
Operations Development Manager- You:
- Proven track record in Operations Development from a business readiness perspective
- Previously implemented improvement initiatives into large operations teams
- Successfully delivered against operational KPIs and metrics
- Ability to work cross functionally and operate in a multi-regional environment
- Experience in strategically delivering operational change projects to ensure new initiatives land
- Can influence at all levels
