Job Description
- Develop and implement business strategies to promote the company's mission and objectives.
- Oversee daily operations and drive operational performance and efficiency.
- Provide strategic advice to the board on Operations so that they have accurate view of the market and the company's future.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations.
- Develop a high performing manufacturing team.
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed at all times.
- Manage relationships with partners and vendors.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Operations Director should have:
- Proven track record as Operations Director at multi-site manufacturing in ideally FMCG, Medical Device or similar.
- Excellent track record in lean manufacturing implementation
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
- Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
