To oversee the cost-efficient, effective, and timely delivery Healthshares portfolio of NHS contracts and FCP services from a non-clinical perspective Steer organisational outcomes towards meeting contractual obligations, financial targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monitor and manage non-clinical aspects of clinicians in the field, encouraging a satisfied, productive, and clinically effective workforce Work alongside the Senior Operations Manager to aid and implement delivery of strategic, operational, and developmental plans and objectives To actively promote Healthshares vision of clinical excellence and innovative health service delivery Report to the Senior Operations Manager on overall service performance and delivery, and to drive through company aims and values within a multi-disciplinary environment To manage clinical workforce planning to optimise use of clinical facilities, practitioner time, demographic/ geographic requirements, and to satisfy contractual obligations with regards to timely and appropriate health service delivery Proactively manage and implement the organisational ethos of maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for employees, service-users and associated parties via effective risk management processes Work alongside the Senior Operations Manager to identify new opportunities and to facilitate communications with relevant contracting authorities, CCGs, GP groups, Patient Groups, and NHS bodies Work with the RMC and administrative team and selected agencies, to ensure uninterrupted and efficient running of clinics during periods of clinician holidays, training absences or sickness Identify geographic or clinical areas for development, source new clinic sites and mobilise accordingly Work alongside Human Resources Management Team to contribute to workforce planning, identify staffing shortfalls and workforce needs, oversee induction processes, monitor staff turnover, and to oversee the recruitment processes accordingly Liaise with Management Information team with regards to production of routine and bespoke reporting to enable accurate overview of the various aspects of the services Work with senior clinical team to ensure the overall satisfaction and welfare of clinical staff with regards to mandatory training, safe evidence-based working practices, healthy environment, policy implementation, educational needs, supervision, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager and co-ordinate the enactment, review and improvements of risk management strategies, policy implementation, workplace procedures, information governance, and clinical governance plans to ensure meeting appropriate and internal and external audit guidelines and required legislative standards To visit new and existing clinical facilities and infrastructures to ensure each workplace environment is safe and meets organisational, risk minimisation, CQC audit, and professional standards To act as a conduit between facilities staff, GP practices, clinicians, patients, CCGs, suppliers and clinical professionals to maximise communication processes, clarify aims and aid efficient healthcare delivery To manage and oversee clinician ordering and consumables requests, ensuring timely and cost-effective product acquisition among the nominated suppliers and relevant contacts To assume responsibility for equipment ordering and maintenance Contribute to investigations regarding Serious Untoward, or Minor Incidents with a view to continually drive services towards a safer and more effective clinical operational / facilities model To act as an effective team player within the Management Team, assuming additional ad-hoc roles and responsibilities in times of high demand, or as support to fellow managers To sensitively and fairly deal with service-user and stakeholders complaints, and the constructive use of feedback derived via this route, instigated patient questionnaires, helping to continually drive improvements across all services The candidate: A positive attitude with a high degree of personal integrity and ethical responsibility Approachable and friendly Flexible with a natural ability and willingness to adapt to new situations Shares the organisational ethos of wanting to deliver the best possible patient care Resilient and able to meet challenging situations or deadlines with equanimity Professional and well-grounded with a can-do attitude Naturally self-motivated and disciplined
