Summary of Role:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the operational services of the company, ensuring efficient processes are maintained, and client needs are met and managed. You will be crucial in overseeing and handling day to day operations of the company and ensuring that business functions run smoothly and efficiently. This includes working closely with company directors, internal departments, suppliers and clients to achieve company goals and deliver customer projects.
Typical Daily Tasks:
· Work with Directors, company departments and suppliers to efficiently deliver clients' projects
· Assist Directors to assist with project timelines and update clients promptly
· Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant, materials and suppliers
· Ensure the best utilisation of subcontractors and suppliers for the efficient use of resources and maximise profitability
· Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues as they arise
· Operational support for sub-contractors and suppliers as needed
· Assist with pre-contract and pre-arrival information to clients
· Supplier relationships - monitor the status of secured projects with the supply chain and update clients on lead times and/or installation dates.
· Feedback on client responses to management regarding price, service, quality and any issues highlighted through discussions with clients or potential clients.
· Ad hoc tasks to assist the operation and growth of the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Educated to degree level preferred
· 2+ years of operational experience preferred
· Exceptional interpersonal skills
· Problem solver with a keen eye for detail
· Organised and efficient
Location:
Monday – Friday based at our office: 306 Harbour Yard, London, SW10 0XD; with occasional requirements to carry out site visits and client meetings.
Remuneration:
· Salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, experience and skillset dependent
