The Role As the Operations Manager, you will manage production and manufacturing within our Sheffield facility. Overseeing operations, you will ensure products are consistently produced on time and to the highest standards. You will drive improvements across quality, cost and delivery and champion a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative working. You will implement LEAN manufacturing principles across the Production Department, working with Managers and Directors to deliver the commercial plan and strategy. You will drive sustainable growth whilst delivering products and services that exceed our customer’s expectations. Additionally, you will act as an ambassador for the company, leading by example, acting as a role model for the workforce and maximising performance across production. About You To be considered as an Operations Manager, you will need: - Extensive experience in a senior operations management role within manufacturing and/or engineering
- Experience of working with MRP systems
- Experience of leading and motivating a high-performing team and achieving results
- Experience of developing strategies, business plans and targets
- A detailed understanding and experience of manufacturing custom products
- Knowledge of quality & continuous improvement principles, ISO certification process; ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health & Safety practices
