Job Title: Operations Manager – Apprenticeships

KM are pleased to be supporting a grade 2 ITP who are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage their Apprenticeship offering – they are looking for an ‘all-rounder’ who is happy to work across functions, to support the growth of the provision even further. It’s an exciting time to join the business and will offer the successful the opportunity to have a key role in shaping the future of the business.
Duties:

• Responsible for the leadership and operational management for the delivery of Apprenticeship programmes.
• Responsible for managing, coaching and supporting a team of remote Skills Coaches.
• Performance management of the team, caseload reviews/allocation, ensuring contractual targets and objectives are met in terms of timely success rates, non-starters, referrals and progressions.
• Conduct observations of teaching and learning, and regular quality spot checks.  
• Responsible for the quality and compliance and act as the first point of contact for Ofsted and ESFA
• Maintain and monitor QAR and QIP
• Responsible for data collection and reporting to be used in SAR
• Monitor and process monthly withdrawals, ensuring maximum drawdown is claimed and paid each month.
• Engage with stakeholders, employers and other department leads to identify and maximise opportunities for growth
• Delegation / or completion of administrative tasks to support enrolment and new client set up.
• Maintain knowledge of funding requirements, upcoming funding changes within the industry and implementing changes across the business, effectively communicating new processes/changes to all staff effectively.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of working as an Operations Manager within the Apprenticeship sector.
• Experience of performance managing remote Apprenticeship Assessors, driving quality learning, and ensuring targets/KPI’s are achieved.
• Good working knowledge of funding rules, Ofsted and ESFA requirements, and acting as the first point of contact for Ofsted and ESFA
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
