As the successful Operations Manager, Health & Safety be in your DNA – you will know what good training looks like and have an ability to develop + implement new course offerings to enhance the company’s training suite.Partnering closely with the MD, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing and refining the business’s training services to ensure they continue to shine brightly in their specialism.

Your day to day as the new Operations Manager (Health & Safety):
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the day-to-day Operations of the businessensuring a continuous improvement culture.
- Ensure a consistently high level of training services to all our clients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage performance of Training Co-ordinators and Associates in line with company procedures and protocols to ensure they achieve the requirements of their KPI's.
- Manage team resources through effectively planning and allocating workloads.
- Ensure the appropriate skill set and competence of the Training Co-ordinators by the implementation of appropriate appraisal, monitoring and evaluations.
- Respond to and address any gaps in training standards in response to awarding body feedback.
- Support Business Development Managers with joint prospect visits and Health & Safety advice and guidance.
- Provide Management reports and departmental statistics as required to ensure operational efficiency is being maintained.
Your credentials:
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety ideally within the Construction sector
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional H&S standards.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Skilled in influencing stakeholders across all levels.
- Relevant Business, Health & Safety or Training qualification
- Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial spirit.
And even better if you have the following:
- Previous experience delivering Health & Safety training is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry/Heavy Plant Machinery would also be advantageous.
