Salary : GBP30000 pro rata Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business who is based in the Portsmouth area.
Due to a change in the business our client is now looking to recruit an Operations Manager/ Office Manager to join the business with immediate effect to cover a maternity contract.
As an Operations Manager / Office manager you will be responsible for
- You will be the go-to in the offices for any health and safety , operations, and facility related issues.
- To manage a team of receptionists and be prepares to step into the role where there may he a short fall in cover.
- Office and stationary management
- To complete all round operations administration to support with operations , facilities and H &S
- To be a reliable go to for management to organise various tasks including m staff onboarding equipment , meeting, and travel management.
- To provide Health, Safety & Environmental advice where possible
- Management of all security aspects of the business
- To keep up to date with current legislation and ensure correct protocol is being followed from a paperwork perspective.
- To complete reports and cross check company policies and procedures to make sur they are complaint
- To be responsible for fire evacuations / first aid within the business
- Be a liaison between the office campus and contractors to ambage facility related issues.
The ideal Operations Manager / Office manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in and Ops management or Office management role previously
- Will have managed staff previously.
- Will be able to install confidence in management to be a go to
- Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Will be advanced in using Microsoft Office , Word and Excel
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Approachable
- Willingness to take control of a situation.
- Some experience of working in a facilities environment would be beneficial but not essential
- The ability to lead by example.
