Operations Planner

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Planner to join our client's inclusive and thriving team. This full-time operations planning role is based in Bath, offers an attractive salary and benefits package. The role is hybrid, but ideally need candidates within a commutable distance to the Bath HQ. 

As Operations Planner, you will create and maintain the manufacturing schedule based on demand planning, internal capacity constraints, and schedule compliance factors. You will track manufacturing progress, execute ERP processes and report functions, and provide timely data and information to drive the business decision-making.

In your first few weeks in this Operations Planner role, you can expect to work in these areas:

• Work flow management, issuing job orders and associated paperwork on a daily basis
• Validation of shop floor data capture to ensure that plans are firmly grounded in the actual status of work and available capacity
• Capacity planning of all manufacturing work centres based on actual and modelled capacity versus planned work.

To apply for this Operations Planner role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Experience in production scheduling and material planning using APS and ERP tools
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
