Salary: £27.5k-£32k DoE plus benefits including company phone, laptop and pool vehicle for site visits

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week spread across five days. Schedule depends on the needs of the company

Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for an Operations Support Assistant to join the Team of one of our clients, a family run cleaning company based in London. As Operations Support Assistant you will be responsible for carrying out site visits when required, along with risk assessments and on-site health and safety training. The ideal Operations Support Assistant will ideally have at least a year's operational experience, will be flexible to meet work schedules and will have a good understanding of cleaning methods and COSHH. Responsibilities:
Support OD (Operations Director)
Carry out site visits when issues are escalated by the Area Manager or Client
Carry out all site H&S Risk Assessments, prepare and deliver documents to site folders
Carry out on site staff H&S training
Weekly reporting, resolving and progress meetings at HO with the OD and Area Manager to ensure all Operations are running smoothly. These may reduce to fortnightly as the team progress together
Monthly meetings with OD to set out goals and targets
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Health and Safety regulations
Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to achieve overall organisational goals
When needed to cover - the delivery and collection of cleaning stock, cleaning equipment and property keys to new and current sites
When needed, support the team helping to cover the Area Manager by arranging cover schedules, recruiting cleaning operatives, attending sites to visit cleaning staff
Requirements:
Understanding of correct methods of cleaning specifications and a good knowledge of COSHH
Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role is preferable
Operational experience is essential for this position - at least one year
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve effectively
Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Driving Licence essential
Spanish speaking would be an advantage
