Job description


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 7 Theatre Manager for the ophthalmology directorate.
The position will involve leading the nursing team, ensuring the development of staff and working closely with the Senior nurse and Directorate management teams to maximize utilisation and efficiency of ophthalmic theatre/ daycase and pre-assessment services across Health Board sites.
Candidates should be forward thinking, have the ability to manage a team and demonstrate excellent communication . Decision making and motivation skills are key qualities. You will need to demonstrate continuing professional development and a strong commitment to developing others and providing safe quality care.
