We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Projects division who work on a diverse range of projects and retrofit refurbishment schemes ranging in value from 50k - 2 million. This Operations Manager role is to lead a team of Contracts Managers which is split in 2 workstreams across the division.
- Experience within the role essential.
- Provide strong leadership, management, and governance for all refurbishment activities, pre and post contract, across either a single large project or a portfolio of projects.
- Must be able to manage the H&S, quality, and program performance on all projects.
- Must have experience and good understanding of all retrofit PAS measures.
- Able to produce and deliver progress reports.
- Able to produce construction programs (Microsoft Projects ideally)
- Good communicator and have experience dealing with clients and subcontractors.
- Able to manage others to deliver multiple projects at the same time.
- Creating a work safe culture.
- Drive clear cost strategy across projects on operational delivery, customer engagement and operation management.
- Support the business objectives regarding work winning/ repeat business and Customer management.
- Review of the monthly project cost reports and completing input into the business Board Reports
- Ensuring the businesses forecast management plans are rigorously followed.
- WIP management and understanding is essential.
- Must have experience in leading a team and be a great communicator.
