• Receive orders and accurately interpret customer requirements• Select lenses in accordance with company processes• Ensure correct lenses are fitted into frames without gaps• Edge lenses to correct specification• Advise leadership of any non-conformities and errors• Finish each lens and frame to ensure clean, ready product• Minimize departmental wastage and customer returns• Stay up to date with optical industry developments• Manage personal development through continual training• Maintain attention to detail and work to deadlines
Requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of lenses, glazing procedures, and Opticians expectations• Extensive understanding of manufacturing processes in Optical lab• Excellent attention to detail• Experience in fast-paced, quality-focused environment• Ability to work to deadlines
