Order Picker

Our client, a thriving organisation located in Little Hulton, Manchester, is seeking dedicated Order Pickers / Packers to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfilment of customer orders. Responsibilities:

As an Order Picker / Packer, you will play a pivotal role in our warehouse operations. Your key responsibilities include:

• Order Fulfilment: Accurately picking and packing customer products based on provided pick lists.

• Dispatch Preparation: Assisting in preparing orders for timely dispatch, ensuring products reach customers in pristine condition.

• Warehouse Support: Contributing to general warehouse duties as needed, such as organising inventory and maintaining a well-organised workspace.

• Safety: Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

• Experience: Previous experience in order picking and packing, ideally in a warehouse setting.

• Communication: Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Numeracy and Literacy: Strong numeracy and literacy skills to ensure order accuracy.

• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet performance goals.

• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to maintain order accuracy and quality.

• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items, as this role involves manual handling.

Working Hours:

Monday 09:30-20:00, Tuesday to Thursday 12:30-21:00, Friday 12:30-18:00. Total 37.5-hour week with unpaid breaks OR Monday to Thursday 12:30-21:00, Friday 12:30-20:00. Total 37.5-hour week with unpaid breaks

Job Type: Temporary contract
