Order Processor & Admin Assistant - Maternity Cover
Moontown Ltd. is an expanding manufacturer, based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Moontown specialises in the design and manufacture of spring energised seals and associated components, in PTFE and other high performance plastics.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our sales team.
The role requires assisting a small team with all aspects of order processing, customer service and other administrative duties. Candidates will need to possess the ability to work within a small team, be numerate, and be adaptable to helping colleagues as and when needed.
Using our bespoke ordering system, the role will require order entry involving generating work orders, supporting documents and drawings for our busy manufacturing facility. We are a technical business which requires excellent attention to detail.
Admin Assistant Responsibilities:
- Order entry via bespoke system
- Produce drawings
- Compilation of job packs
- Taking incoming calls and providing customer service
- Respond to customer queries and provide updates on orders
- Arranging international shipments
- General office administration duties
- Full training will be given
Admin Assistant Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Professional & reliable
- Well organised & self-motivated with an excellent eye for detail
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office systems excel, word, outlook
- The ability to multi task
Full time maternity cover. Position may become permanent.
- Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
