Otc Derivative Operations Rates/ Credit/

Derivative OperationsHays are looking to speak with candidates seeking a challenging Derivative Middle Office contract role for a leading Investment Bank. Focussing on Interest Rate and Credit products your duties will include:

• Monitoring and compiling daily exception reports to ensure positions and risks are correctly captured at the time of execution
• Liaising with the Traders/Clients/Ops teams to identify and resolve issues, provide trade information and acting as a point of contact for multiple teams around the firm.
• Investigating cash and payment fails, trade maintenance and reconciliation of daily trading activities.
• Identifying and investigating regulatory reporting exceptions
• Reviewing daily control reports targeting patterns of exceptions

Requirements

• Experience working with Interest Rate Derivatives, preferably in a Middle Office, Operations, or Product Control capacity. Other derivative products will be considered
• Strong Excel skills
• Familiar with Dodd-Frank and EMIR regulatory rules / ISDA definitions / Markitwire / DTCC processes
