SalaryOur Public Sector Client currently seeks a Part- Time Temporary ongoing Band 2 Out Patient Administrator in Newry
This is an ongoing temporary position
Working : Thursday 8.30-4.30 & Friday 8.30-4.30
Rate of pay £10.42 per hour
Duties include:
1.First point of contact for all patients and visitors both in person and on the telephone, dealing with queries using own initiative and taking appropriate action.
- Responsible for booking clinic appointments as requested on PAS. Take responsibility for making sure patient details are correct and entering them on PAS, updating casenotes with any changes. Making up new charts when necessary
- Distribution of booking lists to consulting rooms and pulling/filing charts for the clinics.
- To print and collate clinic lists, booking summaries and receptionist lists for the following day’s clinics.
- Liaising with ambulance control/transport if required and dealing with transport related problems as they arise for patients attending clinics.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in the use of Microsoft office Word
- 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language or equivalent / higher qualification
- Or 1 years’ experience in a clerical /administrative role
