Job description

Your expertise and innovative approaches will help us to better demonstrate the value of our medicines and their impact on patient outcomes.
Role Summary

Alongside our Health Technology Assessment (HTA) team, you will evaluate the economic value of products and therapies with the clinical and quality of life outcomes data from clinical trials and real-world evidence (RWE) studies. You will lead new studies that will provide key RWE for reimbursement and access strategies with a patient-centric lens. You will work with product reimbursement and clinical research teams to improve their strategies and programs.

  • Maintain close working relationships with cross-functional teams assigned to an asset to ensure evidence plans remain strategic for the business, keep them updated with evolutions in relevant evidence from across the business and report on progress with active studies.
  • Work with the HTA managers to develop HTA dossiers that leverage the best-fit evidence that conveys the patient-centred unmet need narrative and that optimises the applicability and outputs of the cost-effectiveness model in a UK setting.
  • Work with Asset & Access colleagues in Access & Value UK to understand National Health Service needs and drivers for access, particularly as it relates to evidence needs.
  • Maintain and develop a working knowledge of advancements in UK datasets, analytical platforms and RWE methods and that can be utilised to accelerate or enhance evidence generation.
  • Lead a cutting-edge approach to RWE policy, methods and processes to become thought leaders within the biopharmaceutical sphere.
  • Source or provide appropriate training to develop skills and talent in RWE methodology.
