During the summer our outdoor pools become a social hub for guests to lay in the sun, play with their family and swim the afternoon away. To ensure we have a safe and fun environment for guests to enjoy we need a strong outdoor pool host who can manage the area.
As a pool host your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing our outdoor pool areas across both sites
- Provide adequate pool side services, in line with the Company operating and health & safety standards
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered and in line with the normal operating procedure (NOP)
- Carrying out emergency procedures in line with the company’s emergency action plan (EAP) and follow the accident reporting procedure
- Delivering a guest focused approach – professionally informal style that leaves guests feeling hosted and held
- Serve drinks/alcohol to guests in the hot tubs
- Set up, run and close down the hot tubs, sensory spa garden, outdoor pods or outdoor swimming pools
- Flow with the day, being adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Be punctual, professional and communicate honestly and openly
- Be flexible to suit the needs of the business
- Maintain company ethics and policies

- have great communication skills
- have excellent interpersonal skills
- Show a passion for wellbeing, sustainability, and the environment
- be able to swim 25m unaided
Lifeguarding or emergency pool responder training is an advantage, but full training will be provided. First aid qualification desirable.
