Outpatient Department Manager | Band 7 depending on experience | Full-Time | Permanent | Tunbridge Wells
Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital are looking for an experienced Outpatient Department Manager to join us on a Full-Time, Permanent basis. Your role will be to deliver a high quality and efficient Outpatient Service.
Spire Tunbridge Wells is a 28 bedded acute hospital situated in rural Kent, located within five miles of Royal Tunbridge Wells and on the boundaries of West Sussex. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including two operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To manage the operational delivery of Outpatient Services against key performance indicators, ensuring the efficient running of the department.
To ensure the team deliver effective patient care by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership. To develop clinical practice within the department, examining, introducing and embedding innovation and excellence in clinical practice throughout the teams.
Working Hours: Monday - Saturday between - 08.00 - 20.30
Contract: Permanent
Who we are looking for:
- Competence across a range of clinical, management and leadership skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration and further education and development.
- Senior clinical management experience or evidence of working in a Outpatient Management role for a minimum of 3 years.
- Knowledge of appropriate standard and external bodies such as the Care Quality Commission
- Evidence and in-depth knowledge of clinical governance, clinical audit, clinical effectiveness
- A degree is highly desirable.
