The role would include:
- Assisting predominantly Limited Company clients with their statutory reporting
- Preparing financial statements, predominantly under FRS 102, but may include some IFRS.
- Preparing corporation tax returns Preparing VAT Returns
- Supporting outsourced FD clients with management reporting and ad hoc queries
- Reviewing bookkeeping records
- Assisting with the training of junior team members (new AAT trainees)
- ACA study support provided to the right candidate if not already fully qualified.
This role will be hybrid to include both working from home and presence in our Kent office in Goudhurst.
About you:
You will hold an accountancy qualification such as AAT or ACA (newly qualified or part qualified) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
You will have experience in the preparation of financial statements, corporation tax returns and VAT Returns and excellent IT skills (MS Office, Sage and Xero).
You will be flexible and a team player, and be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
