T2M Resourcing have been appointed to recruit a Purchase to Pay (P2P) Process Lead - Finance for a global manufacturing group with operations in Europe, The Americas and Asia.
In this newly created role, you will report to the Global Process Owner (P2P) and will play an integral role in driving change management and contributing to a continuous improvement culture across the organisation.
What will you be doing?
- Create strong business partnering relationships across the business globally
- Propose and drive process simplification, automation and innovation in alignment with Global Functions and ensure successful implementation
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators from Shared Services Centre(s) to measure process quality and productivity for key initiatives; provide meaningful feedback to key stakeholders
- Support Shared Services Centre(s) with complex issue resolution within P2P
- Support business in aligning common goals and standardising processes
- Play a key part in global and strategic projects driven by Global Process Owner
- Identify and support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives in all Purchase to Pay processes
- Act as a change agent to ensure that change process is deployed with minimal disruption and in a sustainable manner
- Drive culture of continuous improvement through best practice sharing and visible hands-on leadership
- Provide structured trainings where appropriate to ensure new processes and tools are implemented globally
- Be a SAP expert in the P2P area
- Be a driving force in SAP role and process standardisation
What are we looking for?
To be successful as Purchase to Pay (P2P) Process Lead - Finance, we seek the following skills, experience and attributes:
- 5 years plus Financial, Procure to Pay (P2P) Management experience
- Strong Excel, SAP / BW / PowerBI/Power Query skills or equivalent analytics tools
- Proven ability to identify poor processes and implement improvements
- Demonstrate an ability to work across functions and geographic boundaries with excellent communication skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to motivate individuals in order to produce high quality results
- Experience in automation of processes
- Experience of vendor customer portals, data collection and analytics essential
