Your duties working as a PA / Legal Secretary will include:
* Typing documents, emails, file notes and other similar duties for Fee Earners
* Handling client telephone calls, enquiries and requests by taking messages, making appointments, or assisting clients where possible.
* Drafting and filing SDLT returns online and as directed.
* Undertaking exchanges and completions
* Dealing with incoming emails/post and corresponding as appropriate
* Digital dictation (Bighand)
* Open files and updating the CMS database
* Ensuring confidentiality and security of documentation and information at all times
* Undertaking any specific training when require to do so and having overall responsibility towards self-development
You will have experience of working as a PA or Legal Secretary within a commercial or residential property department, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise your own workload.
In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, being methodical, discrete and able maintain high levels of confidentiality, able to work on your own initiative and well as part of a team. Strong IT and good typing skills together with experience of using a CMS are also essential.
