Pa To General Manager

An exciting opportunity for a personal assistant has arisen within the Forensic Healthcare Care Delivery Service to provide high quality support to the General Manager for secure inpatient services. There will also be an element of administration support to the wider CDS leadership team on occasions as well as cover for leave across the CDS PA roles.
The post will be office based at Hellingly. The 18 hours will be split evenly between 3 x 6 hours days, days to be agreed with the successful candidate.
This is a challenging role which requires someone with excellent organisational skills who is used to dealing with conflicting priorities. Diary management is part of the role so applicants must have comprehensive experience in managing complex electronic diaries and in the co-ordination and planning of the secure inpatient service wide activities.
The following skills will be essential:

• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and with key external stakeholders.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to prioritise your work effectively as you will be required to manage large volumes of work with a fast turnaround.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Applicants will also need to have experience of the organisation and servicing of meetings including preparing and distributing agenda papers and taking and producing accurate high quality minutes and action points.
