Pa To Headmaster

We are working on a really exciting opportunity at a well known prep school in South London. The school are looking for a PA to Head on a 1 year long maternity contract.

Duties include:

To be the Head’s dedicated Personal Assistant.
To manage the Head’s diary and coordinate all calls on their time.
To ensure the Head’s administrative needs are fully absorbed to enable the Head to fulfil his responsibilities to the best of his ability.
 To host all the Head’s visitors, and to support him in all of his public events and commitments in school and beyond.
 To meet on a daily basis with the Head, and to attend formal and informal meetings in support of the Head as required.
To support in all aspects of events as required by the Head.
 To manage all communication on behalf of the Head, ensuring high levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
 To take minutes/notes at various meetings such as termly PTA Meetings, Future Schools meetings etc.
To liaise closely and continuously with the Senior Leadership Team in terms of diary alignment and events planning.
 To liaise with parents wishing to meet with the Head.

Qualifications include:

An administrator with experience working as a PA.
 Previous experience working within a school environment is desirable.
In addition to the candidate’s ability to perform the duties of the post, the interview will also explore the issues relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children including;
 Motivation to work with children and young people. •
The ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
