Job Description
Our client based in Banbury is looking for an experienced PA to join their team in a new role. This position will involve performing both personal assistant duties, alongside other administrative tasks to support the company. The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience working in a personal assistant role and a strong administrative background.
Please note that this is a part-time role, working around 26.5 hours per week with a hybrid working structure. The role will involve working Monday to Thursday 9.30 am – 3 pm and 9.30 am – 2 pm on Friday.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, appointments, and conferences.
- Create and maintain organised records, files, and documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Manage e-mails, draft responses and highlight priority actions for the MD and Senior Team as required.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation for the MD, senior team and sales team.
- Plan and coordinate company events, including international trade shows, sales conferences, town halls, charity events, senior team events, team-building activities, and company Summer and Christmas parties.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, from venue selection to catering and participant coordination.
- Take part in the company social committee, assisting with the organisation of social events.
- Actively participate in organising and supporting company charity initiatives.
- Coordinate volunteer activities, donation drives, and community engagement events (“a day to make a difference”).
- Assist with the recruitment of new employees.
- Assist with the onboarding process of new employees. Including drafting offer letters and welcome letters, and carrying out right-to-work checks.
- Assist with the induction process for new employees. Including preparation of induction plans, and sending out three-month probation surveys and confirmation letters.
- Monthly updates of employee changes to benefits broker.
- Administration of annual DVLA checks.
- Maintain training records on the training matrix.
- Assist with the organisation of training.
- Participate in HR projects.
- Engage with employees and assist with queries
- Based on a quiet reception desk.
- Providing support to the Business Administrator in a variety of tasks during busy periods and holiday cover.
- Keeping the reception area tidy.

Additional Information
- This is a part-time role, working 5 days a week with reduced hours. Monday to Thursday, 9.30 am – 3 pm and Friday, 9.30 am – 2 pm.
- This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
