We are have a great opportunity for an administrator to join us at Nuclear Waste Services.
As an administrator you will be involved with a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks. The administration team is a high performing team which interacts with a variety of stakeholders at all levels across the business.
As part of the administration team, you will be responsible for:
• Experience of working with an Executive Board and acting as a PA for the Chair.
• High level organisational skills, track record in arranging successful events.
• Diary and Mail Management.
• Act as meeting secretary, taking minutes when necessary.
• Act as first point of contact for any queries (in person or telephone), delegating to appropriate person within Management Team where appropriate.
• General administration duties such as Filing/Photocopying, stationary ordering, maintaining both electronic and paper filling systems etc.
• Chasing and monitoring of actions.
• Co-ordination of travel arrangements in line with the LLWR Ltd/NWS travel process.
• Provide a professional service to internal/customers to agreed standards.
• Maintain information storage and retrieval processes and systems.
• To contribute to the improvement of a safe environment/good housekeeping or working area, particularly in their own area of responsibility.
• Identify recommendations for continuous improvements including contributing to development systems in your work area, utilising best practice.
• Where appropriate, assist in the training of others to an appropriate standard including new entrants in the department.
• Maintain good contacts and provide a professional service with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels..
• Complies with all legislative regulatory and company procedures and standards, e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. appropriate to the role
• Cover for absent colleagues.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a previous PA or administrative role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages and strong technical knowledge in general IT
- Must have a high attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Nuclear experience would be preferable.

Nuclear Waste Services (NWS) is a joint trading name of LLW Repository Limited and Radioactive Waste Management Limited.
This role will be employed by LLW Repository Limited unless the successful candidate is currently on Radioactive Waste Management Limited terms and conditions. In this situation the employee will continue on their current terms and conditions.
