We are looking for enthusiastic and positive individuals who are customer focused and committed to delivering modern and effective services.
Specifically, we are looking to appoint a PACE Assistant Officer who will be responsible for administering a range of debt recovery related tasks in the Council’s Payments, Accounts, Collection & Enforcement (PACE) Team.
For this role you will need a range of debt recovery skills and experience including:
- Experience of pro-actively contacting customers to ask them to pay their debts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills including experience of managing challenging discussions.
- Experience of working collaboratively with external agencies.
- Excellent IT skills to utilise the team’s web-based debt recovery system and the Council’s finance system.
This varied and challenging role requires a keen commitment to teamwork, exceptional communication and customer care skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
