We are currently seeking a Packing Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in East Grinstead.
Our client, a dedicated microbiology company in the manufacturing industry, prides themselves on their innovative blood culture, identification, and susceptibility technology. They are looking for an individual who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to their growing organisation.
What our client offers:
- Temp To Perm contract
- Hours 31.5 per week, 08:15-18:00. This is based on shift work working every over weekend. Overtime sometimes available.
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.23

As a Packing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of their warehouse. You will be responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining the dryers
- Loading and unloading plates, and following the production schedule to ensure the necessary plates are collected for the day.
- Feed plates into the dispensing line, check plates produced, and load plates onto trays ready for drying.
- You will also be involved in packing dried plates in foil pouches, boxing pouched plates into sales units, and assembling, bagging, and packing other accessory products as required.
- Please note that this role will involve heavy lifting.
