As a Packing Operator you will be expected to be involved in the packing and assembly of product, meeting SHE and Quality targets.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Packaging Operator you will be part of a team working on a production line packing life changing medicines for our patients around the world.
You will play an essential role in ensuring our medicines are packed following strict procedures and regulations whilst ensuring we meet our production targets.
The role will involve some manual packing tasks as well as operating fully automated packing equipment once trained. Part of the role will require the use of a PC to complete SAP transactions, e-learning and label printing.
Attention to detail and having the ability to follow instructions are an essential part of working for AZ and enable us to do what we do. Entering information in to computer systems, writing critical data into a batch record and cross-checking printed data are all key tasks of this role and must be completed “right first time”.
Problem solving is a small but important part of the role, no ones knows our packing processes better than our packing teams and when problems occur you will play a part in helping to understand what happened and what we need to do to fix it.
As part of the team, you will take responsibility for identifying and owning small process improvements to drive the performance of the line as well as taking responsibility for your own personal development through an Individual Development Plan.
Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience
Essential:
- Computer literate (basic knowledge Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic knowledge of GMP and SHE requirements
Desirable:
- Use of SAP
- Demonstrated continuous improvements skills – Standard Work, SMED,
- Visual Management
- Proven problem solving skills
- Experience of working on a production line (manual and/or automated)
- Experience of working in a regulated industry
Interviews will be held in the form of an Assessment Centre based at our Macclesfield Campus.
