About Us:

At Yorhealth we provide care for children and young adults with Complex Care needs. You will be working in the family home. This role includes supporting children with a variety of complex needs including but not limited to:

* Cerebral Palsy

* Epilepsy

* Down Syndrome

* Neurological Conditions

* Conditions with required Tracheostomy

* Conditions with required Ventilation

* Conditions with requirement of peg feeding

* Variety of learning difficulties

About You:

Experience:

Current basic clinical competence is advantageous but not essential, as full practical training will be provided alongside on-going support from the dermatology specialist nursing team for Leeds Children's Hospital Trust.

An NVQ level 2/3 in the relevant area is desirable.

* We are looking for a warm and friendly individual who has a passion for young people’s wellbeing and have a caring and patient nature.

* An understanding of the developmental and educational needs of children and young people

* Current Clinical Competences are advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

* An NVQ level 3 in the relevant area is desirable.

We are looking for a person to join our team to support a young man after school and throughout the night within his family home.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.60-£14.10 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
