SalaryA manufacturing company near Halstead are looking for a Paint Prepper to join their busy team, you will be working in a small team to prepare welded work for painting.
The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure to meet company production targets. You will ideally have some paint shop experience, such as setting up painting equipment and sanding. The company are in a rural location near Halstead, Essex so you will need to have your own transport.
The salary for the successful candidate will be circa 12.50ph but will be based on previous experience. Hours are 07:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday.

Paint Prep duties include:
- Sanding work between painting
- Mastic joints in preparation for painting
- Using primers and paint correctly
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Preparing steel work
- Carrying out quality checks
