- Basic salary of £33,380 (experience dependent).
- Working Hours: 39 hours per week (8am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday / 3:30pm finish on Fridays).
- Overtime available.
- Our client is seeking applications from passionate and fully qualified Paint Sprayers, with a proven track record working with classic cars.
- Opportunity to work for a nationally renowned classic car restoration specialist with plans to expand.
What will the successful Classic Car Paint Sprayer / Prepper do?
- Carry out to a correct and safe standard, preparation for paint spraying and polishing post spray of the customer's vehicle.
- Etching and priming area to be treated.
- Selecting, matching and mixing colours.
- Carrying out full body resprays as well as minor repairs.
- Inspecting painted and finished panels to detect potential defects.
- Communicate with the wider workshop to ensure the repairs are completed as efficiently as possible.
- Use specialist body repair equipment.
- Preferably a relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
- A background working with Classic Cars.
- Own set of tools.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Realistic OTE of c. £35,000.
- Early finish on a Friday.
