About the Role:
The role involves inspecting & preparing the car body panels for paint application, using the documented processes. This includes applying primer, base coat, or clear coat to the required quality standard, in the allocated time, using the appropriate equipment, within a production environment.
The twilight shift hours are as follows:
16:30 – 02:00, Monday - Thursday
Shift disturbance allowance is as follows:
£25.80 per shift
Please note that previous Paint Sprayer experience is absolutely essential, as the successful candidate will be required to perform the role from day 1.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Meeting daily quality & production targets, as set by the area Supervisor.
- Ensuring documented processes are followed.
- Working in a structured manner.
- Completing tasks in the allocated time.
- Understanding the need to work within the Company's flexible working patterns.
- Learning new production techniques & processes.
- Having the ability & willingness to work as part of a team.
- Communicating with the Team Leader / Senior Team Leader on concerns & shortages.
- Understanding & responding positively to the quality & process feedback system.
- Handling all parts & equipment with care & attention.
- Working with minimum supervision.
- Recording production data for analysis.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.
- Using & maintaining all supplied Personal Protective Equipment in good condition.
- Actively participating in training.
- Supporting the supervisors & other operators with future build rates & absence cover.
