Site based Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in the heart of Mayfair

Our client is a reputable building main contractor based in London, known for handling some of Britain’s most prestigious residential properties. They excel in managing both new and historic buildings, offering a complete project delivery from initial concept through to completion. A significant portion of their work comes from repeat business, highlighting their commitment to customer care, quality, and total delivery. The scheme is a £35m design & build prime residential fit out in Mayfair, London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Management: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have full commercial responsibility for the projects, including:
  • Management of subcontract accounts
  • Monthly valuations
  • Identification and valuation of variations
  • Claims notification and generation
  • Monthly cost/value reporting
  • Final account settlement

Ideally the Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Experience:
  • Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in the construction London market.
  • Background in Fit out and refurbishment projects.
• Qualifications: Formal Quantity Surveyor qualification.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commercially and technically competent
• Location: Must live within commuting distance of London.
