Painting and Decorating Lecturer

We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Painting and Decorating Lecturer to join a friendly and professional Technical & Vocational Skills department. In this post you will be delivering teaching and assessing young adults on their Painting and decoration qualification. The role is a temporary position 3-6 months in duration however it will be offered permanently if the role and college is the right fit for you.

Working closely with the Head of Department and the rest of the departmental team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.

This outstanding college in Newcastle is a wonderful and supportive environment to teach in and they are looking for a passionate and creative Painting and Decorating teacher to help guide their students to their qualifications.

The successful candidate must have:

• A qualification in Painting and Decorating
• Significant experience within the industry
• Be willing to gain a teaching qualification or have a teaching qualification
