Panel Wirer required to work for a leading organisation specialising in the manufacture and build of machinery near Newbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling / wiring automated machinery within a workshop environment. We are looking for experienced Wirers and electrical fitters who can work to drawings, Wire panels and also following training, there will be the opportunity to support machine installations and commissioning at customer sites, gaining experience in some of the most high profile manufacturing sites in the world.

• Wiring and assembly of control panels and machinery to meet quality standards.
• Running pre-prepared cables/looms through the machinery.
• Terminating cables, crimping and creating looms. Installing and connecting electrical ballasts and transformers (3 Phase Machinery).
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks appropriate to the role Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Installation of cable management systems (trays and trunking).
• Candidates must have previous experience in panel wiring
• Be able to read/work from schematic diagrams.

Working Hours

8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Candidates will hold a relevant qualification in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or similar
