Panel Wirer

Panel Wirer required for electrical assembly work within a manufacturing company that offer design, supply, manufacture, installation, commissioning, inspection and testing services to a broad range of commercial and industrial clients in the water treatment, quarrying, nuclear and waste recycling sectors.

• Based in Midsomer Norton - BA3
• GBP18 per hour PAYE
• GBP23.33 per hour payment via Umbrella
• Monday - Friday, 7.30 - 4.30
• Free parking on site

About the role

• Prepare components, drawings, tools and working area to ensure an efficient build
• Production of control panels
• Assembly of components and cabling to meet design requirements
• Accurately and logically following schematic diagrams
• Crimp and Lug ends of cables to the relevant standard using the correct calibrated tool
• Liaising with manager on missing components and recording and reporting any mistakes found
• Using appropriate tools to securely fix components to the backplate
• To safely move motor control centres and steel frameworks around the workshops

The right candidate

• An experienced and confident electrical wirer with significant panel build experience
• Testing experience
• Good communication skills
