An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, expanding law firm in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. Our client specialises in a range of civil litigation matters and are currently expanding their growing Fraud & Scam department.
We seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join one of an expanding Fraud & Scam team that specialising in a range of purchase, impersonation, investment, crypto, romance, advance fee, invoice, and corporate scams.
The successful applicant will have great communication skills, a strong work ethic, a qualifying law degree and previous experience in a file handling / paralegal role. Fraud experience is desirable but full retraining is available for the right candidate!
Main duties and responsibilities:
Acting as a point of contact for clients, responding to their requests and providing a high-level service to clients at all times.
Discuss potential claims and provide an initial screening review on the telephone in-line with the agreed criteria for new cases
Assisting the Partners, Associates and Team Leaders with complex litigated caseloads.
Ensuring that the case management system is updated and maintained with diary dates as required by the case.
Obtaining witness statements.
Maintaining the case management system, making sure all workflow steps are correctly inputted
Prepare claim documents and proceedings
Experience in a similar role and knowledge of Proclaim is desirable.
Job Details and Benefits:
Full time, permanent
Monday – Friday, 35 hours a week
