Position: Paraplanner

Location: Guildford, UK

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Paraplanner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our Financial Advisers by preparing and maintaining high-quality financial planning documents and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to support the development of financial plans and recommendations.
• Prepare suitability reports and other client-facing documents in line with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with client meetings, providing technical support and expertise as required.
• Liaise with providers and other external parties to obtain necessary information and documentation.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in legislation affecting financial planning.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial products and services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using financial planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant qualifications such as the Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent would be advantageous.
