My client are an independent wealth planning firm in Reading who offer whole of market financial advice to HNW private clients who are retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across the Thames Valley and the M4 Corridor. They have big expansion plans for the business over the next 5 years, aiming to double their AUM and taking on numerous new Advisers. A large proportion of the advice they are giving is across Pensions, Investments, Estate Planning & IHT planning. Their highest net worth clients do get involved more complex products and wealth structuring with over £1m of investable assets.
The Managing Director is creating a brand new role for a Paraplanner to be supporting an established Chartered Financial Adviser. You will attend client meetings with the Advisers and be their "go-to-person" relating to all technical matters and report writing. You will be doing all fact finds, product research, drafting suitability reports, producing illustrations, cash flow modelling and analysis. The business has a heavy emphasis on Pensions so strong knowledge in this area will be key. You will be looking to stay paraplanning for a few years and later down the line there is a possibility to be an Adviser. Full training and study support packages towards your level 4 diploma or Chartered status will be provided.
Salary: £40k - £50k + bonuses
