A pioneering wealth management firm in North Manchester is looking to bring on an additional Paraplanner. You can expect a salary to £50,000, depending on the level of experience, with some great benefits, above industry median.
To be suitable you will have been working in this capacity for a number of years and pride yourself in having a can do approach to your work. The office and team is a vibrant place and continued development in your skillset is a consequence of this. You’ll bring with you sound knowledge of retirement planning both prior to and after, as well as investment and taxation knowledge. If you are Chartered, great, and as a minimum you’ll need the level 4 Diploma in regulated Financial Planning and a willingness to work towards Level 6.
You’ll know the role of Paraplanner so you don’t need to see a shopping list; however the highlights for this opportunity are that you get to know the client portfolios and will be recommending strategies to ensure the financial plan is on track. From this will be involved in the preparation for review meetings, producing all research, quotations and proposed strategies for the planner to present to the Client. You will work closely with existing Paraplanning staff, the Financial Planners and back office support staff. This a key role as you can make a difference in the position, not just with day to day requirements but also with regards to process improvements and continued reviewing of the client journey.
