An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Paraplanning team. You will be part of the London region and will be working within a pod structure environment, where organisation, teamwork and communication is vital. This role is fast paced, and we need someone that is dedicated and able to deal with pressure. Working within a team of 11 Paraplanners who have a vast number of experience and knowledge. I would like you to be part of the team that delivers on our customer promises and support our Financial Planners to deliver quality holistic financial advice. About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to provide Paraplanning support to Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning advisers to ensure full preparation of all necessary documentation and information for recommendation to be delivered by advisers.
You will need to act as a gatekeeper to the business and should be able to challenge, stand up for what’s right and be innovated when you feel is necessary. You need to have good attention to detail and able to persevere to get the right outcome for our clients.
This is a challenging and interesting role and would suit an individual with good Paraplanning/Report Writing experience and in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry; someone who can work as part of a team and isn't afraid to use their own initiative.
Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning advise individuals with high levels of investable assets and the role will involve working on suitability reports that frequently involve a range of sophisticated products and taxation aspects.
You will be required to ensure all work is completed within the required timescales to meet both internal SLAs and FCA guidelines and procedures.
Additionally, you’ll be required to have a thorough understanding of Quilter Financial Planning (QFP) Treating Customer Fairly (TCF) philosophy and ensure your knowledge is up to date through the training we provide and use this to process new business accurately within company SLAs.

- You will have experience within the financial planning industry as a paraplanner to support your understanding of the processes we follow and the products we recommend, with a minimum requirement of Level 4 Diploma qualified.
- You should be comfortable in conducting research for advisers and clients and the construction of suitability reports.
- Experience using Financial Planning tools such as Voyant, Defaqto and FE Analytics.
- Have passion and enthusiasm in building sound financial plans for our clients and deliver positive client outcomes
- You need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook
